Egypt’s benchmark EGX 30 index gained 0.58% to close Wednesday’s trading session at 56,500.74 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX 70 index, which tracks small and mid-cap stocks, declined 0.31% to 21,334.92 points, while the broader EGX 100 index fell 0.23% to 27,950.35 points. The Sharia Index also lost 0.23% to 27,950.35 points.

Egyptian investors recorded a net buy position of EGP 56.2 million in equities, and Arab investors posted a net buy position of EGP 1.2 million. Foreign investors recorded a net sell position of EGP 57.4 million.

Egyptian Arabian(Themar)Comp. rose 7.35% to close at EGP 8.72 per share, up from an opening price of EGP 7.27.
Nasr Company for Civil Works gained 6.15%, ending the session at EGP 7.13 per share, compared with an opening price of EGP 6.32.
The United Bank shares increased 5.67%, closing at EGP 16.18 per share, versus an opening price of EGP 14.96.
Osool ESB Securities Brokerage climbed 5.19% to close at EGP 2.24 per share, compared with an opening price of EGP 2.10.
